Fibershed Climate Beneficial Gala
Northern California
I was asked by Fibershed to produce an event and fundraiser that would showcase the explorations, developments, and garments utilizing Climate Beneficial Wool - a fiber that can transform our clothing into a means of building soil and reversing climate change.
The Climate Beneficial Gala was held at the beautiful Big Mesa Farmstead in Bolinas, California, and presented a runway of climate beneficial fashions along with a generous spread of farm-to-table foods and distilled beverages sourced from local farmers and ranchers, as well as a silent auction and marketplace of artisanal and bespoke goods made by Northern California designers. In addition, Prairie Underground, Industry of All Nations and The North Face debuted products on the runway made with California-grown Climate Beneficial Wool.

San Francisco
On Fashion Revolution Day in 2016 I co-produced a flash mob in San Francisco to recognize Fashion Revolution Day and encourage supply chain transparency.
The march was sponsored by Wildlife Works Apparel.
Participating brands, of which all were San Francisco Bay Area based, included Wildlife Works Apparel, The Tripty Project, Skunkfunk, Fibershed, Indigenous, Synergy Organic Clothing, Soko, New Market Goods, Ways of Change, Callina, PACT, Indosole, and Okiino.

EcoHabitude Showroom
New York
I helped EcoHabitude, a peer-to-peer marketplace, produce a press launch event and build a showroom of sustainable goods.
My task was to contact brands to be involved in the event, curate products to be included in the display and help in the design and build of the showroom. I also hosted the media contacts during the event.

Fibershed Fashion Gala
Sonoma
Fibershed is a cause, campaign, and organization set out to change how people clothe. By utilizing regional agriculture while strengthening local economies and communities, Fibershed supports the creation of local textile cultures that enhance ecological balance. I was given the task to create a fashion event and fundraiser to present an array of garments made entirely in Northern California- from locally grown natural fiber to maker.
